About Us
The “Astronaut Al Worden Endeavour Scholarship,” is an international education program to reward aspiring young space explorers and their teachers with a hands-on astronaut training experience at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center’s renowned Space Camp in Huntsville, AL.
The scholarship, named for the Apollo 15 Command Module Pilot, Al Worden, a global advocate for science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM) education, invites students and educators in host communities of major international airshows to compete for an all-expenses-paid week at Space Camp.
Informed now by these experiences, and heartened by the relationships Kallman and Worden cultivated around the world, the Astronaut Al Worden “Endeavour” Scholarship passes the torch to help light the way for students from international airshow communities to pursue their dreams and contribute more purposefully to the future of humankind on Earth and in the universe.
We look forward to welcoming 16 more students and four more teachers to our program. The class of 2023 will welcome 8 new teams from Australia, Poland, Chile, UAE (2 teams), Singapore, and the United States (2 teams).
