Congratulations Mission Team #10!
Australia!
In close coordination with AmCham Australia, our tenth Endeavour team was selected from a pool of over 600 applicants nationwide! Students presented various solutions to the hazards of a theoretical journey to Titan, Saturn’s largest moon. Through video presentations and accompanying papers, the students demonstrated strong problem-solving skills, as well as communication skills.
The student-designed patch on the left represents the team and Australia beautifully. It also includes the “pink line”. Put on your research hats and answer this: how is the pink line connected to Al Worden and the Endeavour Scholarship? Message us if you know the answer!

Arabella Darlington
My name is Arabella and I’m a 15-year-old student from Brisbane, Australia. Outer space (particularly the maths and physics of it) has been one of my obsessions for as long as I can remember and one day, I hope to become an astrophysicist. I began to take a special interest in physics when dealing with anxiety, as it helped me feel safe in a chaotic and unpredictable universe. I feel so grateful to be chosen for this experience and I know I’m going to make the most of this opportunity. This is truly a once in a lifetime chance and I can’t wait. If you’re reading this, take it as a sign to put everything into your ambition even if it’s a long shot.
Toby Fealy
My name is Toby Fealy and I am a 15 year old high school student from Mareeba, Far North Queensland. For as long as I can remember, I have been fascinated with space. From building spacecraft out of Legos before I could walk to disappointing bicarbonate soda rockets that barely got a metre off the ground, the scientific method has always been the lens through which I see the world and that is why I’m so excited to be a part of this team. My other interests have always been things that require patience and problem solving, like playing music, tennis and reading but none have captivated me like the sciences, always representing a place where people aren’t bound by the borders of nations, but united by a common love of discovery and exploration. The opportunity to learn and collaborate with an international group of students in this area on subjects I am passionate about is truly a dream come true, and I look forward to this amazing experience.
Elliot Powell
Hi, I’m Elliot Powell, I’m a 16-year-old from Sydney, Australia. For nearly as long as I can remember, I’ve had an incredible interest in space. When I watched Apollo 13 and Cosmos as a kid, It sparked a lifelong love for this indefinite, wonderful expanse above us and our exploration of it. This fascination came too with a strong passion for flight, the envisionment of humanity reaching beyond our earth, into the sky and beyond. In pursuit of these passions, I joined the Australian Air League, where, seven years later, I am now an NCO learning to fly a Cessna 172. I am absolutely delighted to embark on this extraordinary opportunity to be a part of Team Australia at the Endeavour Class of 2023 Space Camp. I cannot wait to further explore my passion for aerospace and like the Air League’s motto, I hope it can help me fulfill my goal of being “Free from the Bonds of the Earth”. I am excited to see where this camp takes me.
Zoe Bremner
My name is Zoe Bremner and I attend Scotch Oakburn College in Launceston, Tasmania, Australia. I am 18 years old and am the youngest of four siblings, with two brothers and one sister. I have always been inspired by the night sky and am passionate about space science and aerospace engineering in particular. I love learning about our scientific understanding of the universe and exploring the possibility of life on other planets. Aside from space science, I enjoy sport, travelling, fishing, cooking, and taking my family’s two dogs to the beach. Last year (2022) I partook in an aviation course with the aim of gaining my recreational pilot’s license. To date, I have flown 5 solo hours and am nearing the completion of my license. Discovering more about the stars, planets and beyond, and ultimately discovering our place in the universe, is what propels my desire to learn. After year 12, I plan to study space science and aerospace engineering. I am proud to represent Australia as a member of Mission Team #10 at Space Camp in Alabama and am eager to meet and collaborate with people from diverse cultural backgrounds. I feel very honoured to be a recipient of the Endeavour Scholarship, and I cannot wait to attend Space Camp in Huntsville, Alabama, where I am sure I will be exposed to an abundance of opportunities for learning and personal growth.
Meet the Educator, Sam Nikolsky!
Hi, I’m Sam, an experienced STEM educator with a passion for empowering young people through innovation and technology. My background in industrial design and secondary teaching has allowed me to develop an approach to education that’s focused on project-based learning and design thinking while forging valuable partnerships with industry and keeping it FUN!
Currently, I serve as the Operations Manager of Wyndham Tech School, a high-tech STEM Centre of Excellence in Melbourne’s West. In this role, I get to oversee the development and implementation of state-of-the-art learning programs that include Esports Entrepreneurship, Smart Cities, and AI Engineering, whilst creating an ecosystem where education, industry and community work together to equip young people with the skills they need to flourish.
I love making things, solving problems and sharing ideas, and have always been hugely passionate about space exploration and astronomy as a demonstration of the amazing things that humans can achieve, as well as being humbled by the vastness and the unknown of space.
I’m really excited to be part of this amazing opportunity to work with Team Australia and the other Endeavour Scholarship recipients at Space Camp.
