Agencia Espacial Brasileira
AEB has a wide range of programs and resources to help STEM students. The AEB school program seeks to disseminate the Brazilian Space Program in primary and secondary schools in the country. This ranges from programs and events to giving interested schools/teachers materials and educational activities. They also have an online resource center called AEB Escola Virtual.
Italian Space Agency
The ASI has initiatives to promote scientific education and support teaching. There are educational resources available to help Italian teachers and students to experiment with technical-scientific subjects in an interdisciplinary and innovative way. The ASI also has programs for scientific training and research support for graduate students and recent graduates.
Air Liquide
The Fondation Air Liquide works with Air Liquide to help those who need extra support to get into the job market, both young people and adults. It favors projects with an innovative approach to setting the beneficiaries up with the skills, particularly technical ones, they will need to succeed in the job market.
Airbus Youth Development
In fact, it embraces the UN SDG 4 (United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4) , ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education. It invests in the future of the communities we support, sharing with children aged 8 to 18 from disadvantaged backgrounds our passion for STEM – Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics – and aeronautics.. We want to demonstrate that STEM is an interesting topic, it can be fun, and it is close to everyone’s daily life.
Bahrain Space Agency
The NSSA have created an in-depth handbook/guide to help young students discover STEM opportunities outside and within the space industry. This information should give students information, insights and inspiration to design a career path from school to space. As a part of their community initiatives, the NSSA organizes local competitions with STEM themes. A few examples: Design a colony on Mars; create your own space game from home, Create cosmic dishes fit for space.
Boeing
Boeing is committed to inspiring and preparing the next generation of innovators. They have online resources to use in classrooms including various lesson plans. Boeing also works with higher education institutions because they believe that it is critical for preparing today’s students with tomorrow’s skills for advancing innovation.
Canadian Space Agency
The CSA has a total estimated $280,000 to help fund youth STEM programs. The grants are awarded to educators to support initiatives that focus on a STEM and Moon-related component to help raise awareness among youth and educators. The CSA is creating a curriculum-based K-12 leaning initiatives linked to moon missions. The curriculum includes a webinar, tutorial video, and an educators guide from the CSA.
European Space Agency
The ESA has an entire webpage dedicated to STEM youth. This webpage has resources, news articles, different competitions, and more. They have an animated spokesperson names Paxi who assists in engaging the younger generations. There are resources for teachers to bring STEM education to schools. An interesting feature is the news tab that allows younger kids to stay up to date with industry news in a way that they can understand.
Huntsville Madison County Convention & Visitors Bureau
Huntsville is known as “Rocket City” because it is where rockets were developed that put men on the moon. Their website etches out all of the different Space related activities that you could take part in on a trip to Huntsville. This includes the U.S. Space and Rocket Center and space camp.
Lockheed Martin
Lockheed Martin provides funding and volunteer support to organizations that support STEM career readiness and access for students from high school through the postsecondary years. They have an online series called “Talk Techy” where experts give you a behind-the-scenes look at how they use high school subjects to develop their most innovative technologies.
Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre
The MBRSC has a multitude of educational programs in the STEM field. On their MBRSC learning hub you can find resources to learn about all topics that fall under space science such as astronaut training and the solar system. Some programs to highlight include Deep Learning Camp, School Tours, and the Explore Mars Competition.
Northop Grumman
Northrop Grumman supports STEM education and programs that excite and inspire students to pursue science, technology, engineering and mathematics careers. To reduce disparities in K-12 STEM education for underrepresented students, Northrop Grumman set a goal to provide 5,000,000 STEM experiences annually through formal and informal programming and teacher professional development.
Polish Space Agency
One of the main areas of activity of the Polish Space Agency is Research and Development. The agency conducts educational activities in the field of popularization of knowledge of space research at the levels of secondary education and high school in Poland. They are also involved in the EU funded project called “Future Space.”
UAE Space Agency
The UAE space agency, in cooperation with NASA provide the opportunity for university students who are citizens of the UAE to join the international Research training program at NASA with students from different countries. The UAE space agency aims to establish an integrated education and scientific structure through preparing, developing, and qualifying national cadres to encourage them to work in the space sector. The program also seeks to nurture emerging talents and develop the skills of the students and teachers and develop them in the STEM field.
