Mission Team 1: UAE

Four Emirati students and two teachers will be representing the United Arab Emirates at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center’s renowned Space Camp in Huntsville, AL in August 2021! The winners were presented their award by Apollo 15 Command Module Pilot Col. Al Worden, USAF-Ret. and Tom Kallman, CEO of Kallman Worldwide, at the Dubai Airshow 2019.

Mission 2: Singapore

Four students and one teacher from the Ping Yi Secondary School will be representing Singapore at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center’s renowned Space Camp in Huntsville, AL in August 2021! The competition was fierce, with many groups of students submitting their responses to a space exploration challenge in the form of a five-minute video. The videos were reviewed by a panel of judges comprising of representatives from Experia Events and the Singapore Space and Technology Association!  The winning team was announced during the week of the Singapore Airshow 2020.

Mission 3: Chile

 

The Astronaut Al Worden Endeavour Scholarship Foundation and Kallman Worldwide, in association with Chilean partners – the U.S. Embassy and Arturo Merino Benitez Foundation (AMBF) – are pleased to announce the selection of the 2020 Al Worden Endeavour scholarship recipients. Partners selected four students and one educator to form the ‘Endeavour Mission #3 – Chile” team.

Mission 4: Bahrain

We are incredibly proud and excited to introduce Mission Team 4: Bahrain! This dynamic group of students, accompanied by their brilliant teacher, Miss Amal AlBinali, bring a level of professionalism and academic rigor to the Endeavour Scholarship Team. Bahrain’s National Space Science Agency is dedicated to the  advancement of science and the education of Bahrain’s youth. NSSA’s involvement in the sponsorship Mission Team 4 further speaks to their sincere investment in STEM and the future. Welcome Team Bahrain!

Mission 5: UAE

Astronomy has been a part of Arabic life since the dawn of time. From the Babylonians to the ancient caravans navigating the great deserts. The United Arab Emirates channels its passion for the heavens through one of the most progressive space programs in the world. In the last ten years, our UAE Endeavour Scholars have seen the countries first satellite, first astronaut, first female astronaut, first mission to Mars, and much more.

This crew knows “the stars are not the limit” when it comes to their future. The team was celebrated at the Dubai Air Show in November 2021 where Apollo Astronaut Charlie Duke , Endeavour Ambassador, the and Directors were on hand to present their awards. Led by Miss Rasha, their fantastic teacher, the six students, Saif, Maha, Abdulla, Shaika, Hessa, and Faris, start their voyage to in just one week!

Mission 6: Singapore

Coming in at the speed of light speed is Mission Team #6, Singapore! Our farthest-reaching team has just six days left before they step on the first leg of their 28-hour journey to Huntsville. These young men, Edison and Marcus, earned their place at camp through their outstanding contest submission; they created a detailed plan for a safe journey to Titan, Saturn’s largest moon.

The scholarships were presented at the Singapore Airshow with Endeavour partners , the US Embassy, and Experia Events Pte Ltd. Miss Gillian, Assistant Manager for Education Programmes at Ltd (SSTL), helped run the contest to select our winners and will be joining the team at !

Mission 7: Chile

“Houston, incoming Mission Team onboarding!” Introducing Mission Team #7, Chile! Announced at ‘s Space Summit, the contest to select this crew raan nationwide and resulted in over 50 submissions. These four STEAM stars outshined the rest in their ability to articulate, think critical, and problem solve. Thank you to the for helping us promote the program along with the Chilean , and thank you to the Chilean College of Engineers for helping send this dynamite team to ! Mission 8: United Kingdom

In every country Endeavour has worked in, we’ve been blessed to have serious, well-established partners with a shared vision for supporting the next generation of leaders. No where was that more apparent than in the UK where we connected with the , and its 30,000+ cadet cadre.

Grace, Adam, Brodie, and Emily have been selected as the best of the best to attend . These cadets are top in their squadrons, and top in the entire nation. Their accompanying educator, Flight Lieutenant Tom Grocott, is responsible for training development across the organization. He’ll certainly bring a level of professionalism to camp, as well as return with new STEM understandings to weave into the program..
